Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rentops Pro, operated by Remans Oy (Y-tunnus: 3608693-4), a company registered in Finland. By accessing or using our service at rentops.pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Rentops Pro is a rental property management platform that allows landlords and property managers to track rental income and expenses, manage tenants and leases, store receipts and documents, and generate financial reports. The service is provided as a web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) application.

2. User Accounts

To use Rentops Pro, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Rentops Pro to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers.
• Use the service for any purpose other than managing rental properties and related financial data.
• Share your account credentials with third parties.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the service by automated means.

4. Payment Terms

Rentops Pro offers both free and paid plans. If you subscribe to a paid plan:

• Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as specified at checkout.
• All prices are listed in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT where required.
• You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you are entitled to a refund.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Intellectual Property

The Rentops Pro service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is owned by Remans Oy and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Rentops Pro. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law:

• Rentops Pro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of financial data you enter or reports generated from such data. You are solely responsible for verifying financial information and complying with tax obligations.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the service. We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You breach these Terms.
• Your use of the service poses a security risk.
• We are required to do so by law.
• We discontinue the service (with reasonable notice).

Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of account termination, except where retention is required by law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
